An unidentified soldier has reportedly killed a fuel attendant at a petrol station in Minna, Niger State capitol.
An eye witness account revealed that the fuel attendant at Shafa Filling Station located at Bosso Road, was trying to intervene in the clash between his manager and the soldier when the sad incident happened.
The eye witness account further revealed that the situation degenerated to a point that the soldier and the manager slapped each other.
Dissatisfied with the behaviour of the soldier, the deceased was said to brought out a cutlass to threaten to separate the duo.
The soldier was said to have brought out his gun and shot the fuel attendant.
The fuel attendant was reportedly rushed to the Minna General Hospital but died before getting there, according to a source at.the petrol station.
The Niger State Police Command through its spokesman, Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the incident, saying investigation into the incident has commenced.
