Gunmen have abducted a Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) prophet, Senior Evangelist Ishola Oluomo Babs Agbomibabiwon, in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
Agbomibabiwon, a shepherd in charge of Beulah Behulah Land Model Parish 2, Goden Estate, Ijebu-Ode, was said to have been abducted on Sunday at gunpoint near his residence.
The victim was reportedly ambushed and forced out of his car by the gunmen, who, according to the SocietyNow.Ng, a news platform of the church, said did not steal any of the prophet’s valuables.
“He was kidnapped at gunpoint, just a short distance to his house. Because of multiple threats to his life, he has applied for a police protection.
“He built two celestial church parishes – Behula model parish 1 and 2 – and working on the third.
“He owns a primary and secondary school, transportation company, a granite business, auto business, real estate and have lots of landed properties,” the church news platform stated.
