A female student of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria in Kaduna State, Becky Inuwa, has reportedly regained her freedom after spending a year and half in the Boko Haram captivity.
How she was able to regain her freedom, however, was not clear.
The victim’s school mate, Godwin Tanko, disclosed that Becky was rescued by the military troops.
Tanko wrote on his Facebook wall: “Today I’m celebrating life, I’ve shed tears of joy for this news, this is my course mate in ABU, Becky Inuwa, who was abducted by Boko Haram terrorists for over 1½ years but has been rescued by our great Nigerian Army
