No fewer than twenty three persons have been killed and several others sustaining injuries in a fresh attack by gunmen on two Kaduna State villages.
It was gathered that the armed men on Tuesday night invaded the two communities in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.and started shooting any on at sight.
Before the Tuesday attack, the gumen two day earlier had attacked nine villages in the same local government, where they reportedly killed more than 50 and several others abducted.
Narrating the incident, a resident, who preferred anonymity, disclosed that the assailants rode on several motorcycles into the communities.
He said many residents were caught in aware, adding that everyone ran for safety and hid in the bush.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for Kaduna State Police Command, Mohammed Jalige, said he was yet to be briefed on the incident and promised to get back to the newsmen.
