The Osun State Governor-Elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has constituted a 37-member Transition Committee ahead of his assumption of office in November 27, 2022.
The committee will provide a smooth transition between the outgoing and the incoming governments in the state.
According to a statement by the spokesperson for the Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, Oladele Bamiji, the transition committee will be inaugurated by the governor-elect on Thursday.
The statement said the transition committee is made up of seasoned technocrats, public office holders and experts from diverse fields.
The statement read partly: “The committee will be chaired by a doctor of nuclear medicine and a fellow of the Euro Institute of Reticulo-endothelial Biology and Medicare, Dr. Muyiwa Oladimeji, the Director-General of Ademola Adeleke Campaign Organisation, Hon. Sunday Bisi, will serve as the committee’s deputy chairman, and the secretary of the transition committee is a serving member of the House of Representatives and also a legal practitioner, Hon. Bamidele Salam.”
Other eminent Nigerians are members of the transition committee, including a Project Management expert, Adekunle Adepoju.
