Men of the anti-graft agency, the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Saturday arrested four persons suspected to be involved in an alleged vote buying during the July 16, 2022 Osun governorship election.
Three of the suspects, Jimoh Kazeem, Adeyemo Bahir and Abidogun Ismail, were apprehended at Ward 2, polling unit 2, Ababu, Isale Osun, Osogbo.
The fourth suspect identified as Nurudeen was picked up by the operatives of the EFCC at Ward 8, AUD Primary School, Isale Agbara, Osogbo.
Nurudeen confessed to the crime, saying he was caught at Ward 8 when some people asked for money to buy water and he gave them N10,000.
