Missing former Enugu State governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Engr. Dons Ude, has been found dead.
Ude, who has been declared missing since last Saturday, was found dead at the 9th-mile area of Enugu State but his car was also recovered, according to a family source.
The source, a who would not want his name mentioned, said the victim, a one-time State Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), narrated how the family had made effort to reach him since he was missing.
He said: “When Ude was not picking up his calls we were all afraid that he might have been abducted. But his mobile phone was later found by the wall of the Ogui Police Station. This further gave us the inkling that he could have run into trouble.
“His wife, who had been trying the line, was later informed that the phone was found and she was immediately reported at the station that she had been trying to reach him without success.”
