There was tension in Lagos on Monday as Fulani herdsmen reportedly killed a bus conductor over the death of their a cow in Lagos.
It was learnt that the herders stabbed the bus conductor to death when his driver crushed and killed one of their cows at Mowo on Lagos-Badagry Expressway, adjacent Muhammadu Buhari Estate.
Immediately after crushing the cow to death driver of the bus marked FKJ 756 XH took to his heels but the conductor was unlucky.
Video of the scene has gone viral.
The Eagle Online reports that in one of the videos sighted by its reporters, a commentator said the incident happened close to a police checkpoint.
According to the report, the driver, who was said to be heading to Badagry from Mile 12, was said to have fled as soon as he sensed danger.
