Ten students of a Government Secondary School in Awon, Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State were reportedly abducted on Monday by unknown gunmen.
The Kaduna State Government in a statement on Tuesday said it got information about the incident through preliminary reports from security agencies.
The statement by the state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, said: “The exact location of the incident is yet to be ascertained but detailed reports being awaited will clarify whether the incident occurred within the school premises or elsewhere.
“The government will issue a public statement accordingly, when these reports are received.”
