A female officer of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Lagos has reportedly committed suicide inside her apartment in the barracks.
Though no clue was found as cause of her death, it was gathered that she hung herself at about 2.00pm on Saturday.
Identified as George, the deceased, a Master Warrant Officer (MWO) attached to the Logistics Command, was said to have been found dead inside her block T5, Flat 8 Sam Ethnam Base, Ikeja, apartment and later evacuated by medical personnel from the NAF hospital.
Meanwhile, the spokesman for the NAF, Commodore Ayodele Famuyiwa, who confirmed the incident, said a committee had been set up to investigate the case.
