Arsonists suspected to be political thugs in the early Wednesday morning set ablaze the house of the All Progressive Congress (APC) stalwart in Benue State, Alhaji Usmam Abubarka aka Young Alhaji.
Abubarka said the arsonists attacked his house at Otukpo around 3.00am.
The victim, who said those who carried razed the house were sponsored by his political opponents, said millions of naira worth of his property went up in flames.
He said he had reported the incident to the police and was waiting for the arsonists to be arrested and brought to justice.
Meanwhile, the police were yet to issue a statement on the incident.
