Two persons have reportedly died in ghastly motor accident along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
According to the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), the accident happened when a tanker crashed into a stationary DAF truck at the Ogere axis of the highway.
The TRACE spokesman, Babatunde Akinbiyi, who confirmed the accident to journalists, said driver of the Mark tanker marked T 12001 LA might be speeding or dosing on steering when he lost control and crashed into the unmarked truck.
According to him, two persons, including the driver of the tanker died but the driver of the truck, who was fixing a tyre when the tanker lost control and rammed into his vehicle from the rear sustained a serious injury.
He said the corpses of the deceased had been deposited in the hospital morgue.
