Men of the South West Security Network in Osun State also known as the Amotekun Corps, have apprehended and paraded a 33-year old man, Afeez Odusanya, who was caught with a corpse teeth, before the newsmen.
Afeez was paraded at the Amotekun Corps office in Sabo, Osogbo, Osun State, after he had been caught with the teeth he allegedly removed from an exhumed dead person at a cementary in Ilesa.
Afeez confessed to removing the teeth of a corpse with the intention of using them for a money ritual.
The suspect further confessed that he had previously attempted removing dead persons’ teeth for money ritual twice but failed to acheive any success.
According to him, his first and second attempts were in 2016 in Sagamu, Ogun State.
Answering questions from journalists, he said: “I was caught after I exhumed a corpse at a burial ground in Ilesha, which I want to use for money ritual. I have been exhuming corpses since 2016 and removing their parts for money ritual purposes but the rites failed. I evacuated corpses at Sagamu, Ogun State but was caught in Osun State while trying to remove the tooth of a corpse.
“It takes me about 30 minutes to remove the tooth from the corpse. It takes me lesser time with my previous experiences.
“I will advise other youths attempting to venture into money ritual to desist from it because it is not real.”
