A multilpe motor accident on Ife-Ibadan Expressway has claimed twelve lives and critically injuring eight others.
The spokesperson of Osun State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kehinde Adeleke, who confirmed the auto crash to newsmen, said it occurred on Friday near Sasa bridge at Gbongan junction.
According to her, the accident involved two commercial buses and a truck.
She said twelve persons died on the spot and the eight others had serious injuries.
She also said that the injured victims were taken to the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ile for treatment and the corpses deposited at the hospital morgue.
