The Airline Operators of Nigeria, (AON) has suspended its earlier plan to shut down operations on Monday May 9, 2022.
The AON in a statement on Saturday said it would shut down flight operations on Monday because of high cost of aviation fuel.
But in another statement on Sunday, the AON President, Alhaji Abdulmunaf Yunusa Sarina, said airlines operators would not shut down flights but would continue their operations as usual.
Sarina said his members after an agreement for a discussion with the Federal Government (FG) on how to tackle the fuel issue would still continue their operations.
