Less than forty eight hours to the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary holding in Abuja on Monday, President Muhammadu Buhari has endorsed a Southern candidate to succeed him in 2023.
After meeting with the party’s presidential aspirants on Saturday night at the State House, Abuja, Buhari agreed that power should shift to the South in 2023.
Buhari ‘s endorsement has brightened hopes of Southern aspirants, including Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Yemi Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi and others.
The DOES2LEAK Online reports the 11 Northern governors’ voting for power to shift to the South in 2023 in the interest of fairness, justice, national peace and unity.
With Mr. President’s endorsment of a Southern candidate, all presidential aspirants, including the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan; Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello and others have no chance at the Monday primary.
