The blue of the waves
The light of the sky
The sound of the waters
honey sweetness
We are so good here
A perfume of paradise
White clouds
Like a blouse
The shining sun
like a necklace
Without a doubt, it reigns here
A little perfume of paradise
So tell God to wait a while
Because nothing hurries and nothing squeezes
We may give up on our vows
Cause heaven is actually on earth
I refuse to join Him without worry
If He could let me stay here
The black of shadows
under a hat
Like the darkness
From a marquee
The swell of the waves
Moved by the wind
The wandering air
And tries to sing
Where can it be more beautiful than here
Under this perfume of Paradise?
Some have, it seems, walked on the sea
Others claim to have split it in half
But I don’t need no mystery
Nor take me for a God
Just be in this corner of paradise
To feel powerful and infinite
The sandbanks
Out of sight
Like those beautiful fables
That we have read so much
How good it is to live here
Under these false airs of paradise
