A female aspirant on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Na’anyil Magdalene Dakogol, has been abducted on her way to meet the delegates.
Those who abducted Dakogol contesting to represent Qua’an Pan South State Constituency were unknown.
Dakogol was reportedly abducted on Thursday, day of the APC primary poll, holding at Kwalla in Qua’an Pan Council Area of the state.
A family source, who pleaded anonymity, said: “The Honourable was to see a delegate on Wednesday but they gave her 5:30 am of Thursday for her to meet them. She left alongside her brother to Goeragas and they could not locate the house, her brother came down of the car and went into the community to make inquiry.
“He left her inside the car, but to his greatest shock he did not meet her when he came back. Her phones were all inside the car but he could not see her.”
Confirming Dakogol’s abduction, the spokesperson of the Plateau State Police Command, Ubah Gabriel, in a terse statement disclosed that the state Commissioner of Police had sent tactical team to rescue the victim.
