Gunmen have reportedly thrown two abducted persons down the bridge, killing one of them in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
It was gathered that the gunmen seized the victims, who were traveling on Nnobi-Nnewi Road, and took them to Alor where they were reportedly thrown out of a moving vehicle from a bridge top along the Obiaja River.
It was further learnt that one of the victims hit the concrete base of a drainage channel in Alor with his head and died instantly.
A viral video of the incident, shows a survived victim with serious injuries, narrating their ordeal in the hands of the gunmen.

The survivor, Benjamin Okafor a.k.a. Man Petrol, who spoke with men of Tiger Squad, a local vigilante in Anambra State, said he was driving in his Toyota Camry car with the the other dead man to his hometown, Amichi in Nnewi South Local Government Area, when the incident happened.
He said: “We were abducted by the armed men around 9.00pm and were thrown out of the car from a 20 feet bridge.”
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the Anambra State Police Command, Ikenga Tochukwu, has confirmed the incident in a statement, saying the surviving victim had been taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
He also said the body of the deceased victim was recovered from the scene and had been deposited in hospital mortuary.
He said: “The man was rescued and he is currently receiving treatment in the hospital. He was later identified and united with the family members. The second victim has been taken to the morgue and investigation has since commenced.”
