Armed men on Sunday kidnapped a first class traditional ruler in Rivers State, Aaron Ikuru of Ikuru town in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.
It was gathered that the gunmen kidnapped the traditional from his palace.
The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the incident.
Through its spokesperson, Nnamdi Omoni, the police told journalists that: “The command has received the report of the abduction but are yet to get the full details of the events.”
