Gunmen attack Reps Ex Katisna Assembly Speaker’s residence, abduct two family members


Unknown gunmen have attacked the residence of former Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly and a member, House of representatives, Abubakar Yahaya Kusada.

During the attack on Saturday night, where two of his family members were allegedly abducted.

It was gathered that around 1.00 am, the bandits the residence of Kusada the member of the House of Representatives and abducted the two persons when he was not found

A family source said: “At around 1 am, unidentified assailants attacked the residence of a Member representing Kusada/Kankia/Ingawa federal constituency in Katsina State,” a source has said. The assailants took away two house helps, a woman named Talatu, and a young man named Suleiman.”

The source, who preferred be anonymous, said at first, the suspected kidnappers have asked of the whereabouts of the politician’s mother whom they were told was not around.

According to him, the bandits then took away the two victims both of whom he said are close family members to the lawmaker.
