Breaking: Niger school students, teachers set free

 

Kidnapped students and teachers of Government Science College in Kagara, Niger State have been set free, after one week in the captivity of the bandits.

The victims, who are 27 students, three staff of the school and twelve other members of their family regained their freedom on Sunday evening after one week of captivity.

It was learnt that the kidnapped victims were released on Sunday, few hours to the time of the release of the 21 Niger State bus passengers abducted at Kundu via Yakila in Rafi Local Government of the state.

It was not clear if the government paid ransom for the release of the students and the teachers.
